Chestnut Hill- Brookline resident and Co-chair of Mass-Care, masscare.org Pat Berger included this timeless quote of Dr. King’s quest for health care for all in her below editorial published recently in the Boston Herald owned chain newspaper,  Brookline Tab, brooklinewickedlocal.com.

Let’s help Pat Berger and Mass-Care advocates pass single payer care legislation by voting yes for single payer care.  Additionally, I am asking you to please vote No to eliminating the MA income tax on ballot question 1 on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th.

Most important,  please ask friends, relatives, neighbors, business associates and local leaders to Vote…

Congratulations to Rush. Julian’s Campaign for Progressive Change has just begun

Congratulations to State Representative Mike Rush on his win in yesterday’s primary and, because he has no opponent in November, his ultimate reelection.

But I’d also like to say thank you to the more than 1,200 voters who supported me. This was a grass-roots campaign waged against a longtime incumbent, so it was a tough battle from the start, but we were able to gain a significant portion of the vote and we should be proud of that.

It is unfortunate, however, that a majority of the 26,000 registered voters in the 10th Suffolk District stayed home on Primary…
